Universal Studios - Terminator II

700 tons of structural and miscellaneous steel for Universal Studio’s Terminator II 3D Project. Work included the fabrication of the structural and miscellaneous steel for a large theater, restaurant and gift shop. This detailing and fabrication on this project was particularly complex because perimeter steel on each structure was non-radially curved and the structures were constructed on top of the sloping roof of an existing concrete parking structure. Work also including the strengthening of the existing parking structure’s concrete support beams to accept the added load.
